Writing & Editing

Most of my writing experience developed through long stints at The Tuscaloosa (Ala.) News, where I was business editor, and Overdrive magazine, where I was editorial director.

My freelance work has included book writing and editing, as well as essays and articles published in Forbes, Sales & Marketing Management, Image, Mars Hill Review, Memphis, World, Christianity & Literature, Charisma, the Rockford Institute’s The Family in America and elsewhere.

Transportation and business

Working for more than two decades as editor of owner-operator trucking magazine Overdrive, I’ve written many features and commentaries. Here are two samples.

Books

I’ve had two of my own books published and I’ve edited  others. I’ve also ghosted books, including the first book by Jay Sekulow, a prominent Washington, D.C., lawyer and conservative media personality.
